March Counterfeit Kit "Love in a Moving Box . . . With a Ribbon Around it!"

It's Counterfeit Kit time again, and this month the inspiration comes from Cocoa Daisy's February kit.

As I mentioned in my last post, I still have plenty of papers and other goodies from my last two Counterfeit Kits, "Love in a Box" and "Moving Boxes". I'm too lazy to pack them up or even separate them There's plenty of life left in them so I've put them together into a new configuration known as "Love in a Moving Box" and decided to play with an embellishment add-on this month, inspired by the Cocoa Daisy kit and add-ons . . .

"... with a Ribbon Around It"

Last month I did my Silhouette die-cuts in white.  This month, I've used colour, but still very neutral.  Starting with inspiration from the woodgrain frames:

I've given the frames an extra layer on the back for extra strength and dimension, and cut some photo corners, tabs and butterflies with the rest of the 6" sheets of paper.

The next thing I counterfeited was the cork punctuation stickers:

Mine aren't cork, they're two layers of kraft cardstock, stamped with a woodgrain stamp in white ink.

The blackboard trend appears in one of the add-ons:

I cut a bunch of different label shapes from some black off-cuts, and rubbed white chalk over them to give more of a "chalkboard" look.

Finally, I've topped up my DIY dimensional dots . . .

and, as the name suggests, finished the kit off with some pretty ribbon!
